DIY compressed air car 2 converts elastic potential energy stored in the air chamber to kinetic energy of the car. This toy provides an additional syringe to pump more air into the air chamber. More force is then required to compress the air (more work required) to produce more elastic potential energy to convert to more kinetic energy. This set can also show that when more air is pumped into a rigid container, the volume of the air in the container does not increase.
