Magnet exploration set E

Magnet exploration set E consists of a magnetic levitation set, two magnet cars, two bar magnets (50mm x 8mm x 8mm), a U-shape magnet (50mm x 38mm x 8mm), a compass and a 2D magnetic field demonstrator. This set provides the three common types of magnet for learners to exam the positions of the poles. This set can demonstate magnetic properties such as :

(1) Unlike poles attract, like poles repel

(2) When suspended freely, magnet points to the North and South directions.

(3) Magnetic force is strongest at the two poles.

(4) Magnet attracts magnetic material such as steel, iron and nickel. (materials not provided)

(5) Magnetic force can pass through non magnetic materials.
